The stela slat conveyor dryer type PBT is available with direct or indirect drying. It characterized above all by its extremely robust and durable stainless steel plate belt construction. It is usually designed as a 2-belt or multi-belt dryer and thus offers ample drying capacity on a relatively small surface area. It can be heated either directly with fossil fuels or indirectly via waste heat from combined heat and power (CHP/ORC) processes.
