The Fraunhofer Institute for Interfacial Engineering and Biotechnology (IGB) is a research unit of the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, the world’s leading applied research organization. IGB develops biological, physical and chemical technologies and processes to recover energy, nutrients and other resources from wastewater, digestate and other streams of organic and inorganic wastes.
