Refuse Disposal & Recycling
Water & Sewage Treatment

With 50 years of experience and more than 2.000 project references across the globe, Berghof Membranes is the leading manufacturer of high-quality tubular membranes.

Our full line of PES and PVDF tubular UF membranes are available in 5mm or 8mm diameter and a variety of pore sizes, housed in either GFRP or PVC-U housings. For high-strength wastewater and process streams, Berghof Membranes offers chemical resistant (CR) tubular UF able to withstand highly concentrated alkaline detergents and chemicals.

5mm Membrane Modules

Crossflow applications with low-strength wastewater can be processed and concentrated up to 10 g/l with our 5mm membrane modules. Berghof Membranes offers a variety of membrane modules made of glass fiber reinforced plastic (GFRP) and polyvinylchloride (PVC). Both module types are available in backwashable and non-backwashable configurations.

8mm Membrane Modules

The degrading, recycling and reuse of wastewater that contains high amounts of solids can be a real challenge for wastewater treatment plants. Our innovative 8mm membrane modules can operate at a low crossflow velocity of 1.0 – 2.0 m/s, meaning that our wastewater treatment systems are able to generate high fluxes with low energy consumption

Chemical Resistant Membranes

History has shown that cleaning wastewater streams with chemicals that contain high pH values achieves the best results. A major disadvantage is that many membranes are not robust enough to withstand the highly concentrated alkaline detergents, resulting in wear and tear of the membrane and degradation of the membrane’s performance and service life. With this in mind, Berghof Membranes has developed its line of robust Chemical Resistant (CR) membrane modules.
